Golden Opportunities is a program for aging individuals with disabilities. This program is geared towards those that may be seeking other activities other than work. The majority of individuals in this program have chosen to engage in more leisure/social activities rather than work.
Activities such as crafts, gardening, movies, and community integrations are provided in our center 2 days a week and activities at the local senior center 3 days a week. Occasionally there are additional activities planned such as attending a baseball game or visiting the zoo.
The purpose of this program is to keep individuals as active and independent as possible in their daily lives as they age.
