Jobs Plus is a private non-profit agency licensed by the Department of Human Services and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
In 1965, Waseca County started Waseca County Developmental Achievement Center (DAC). It was held in the First Congregational Church in Waseca. Waseca County DAC had 2 other locations before moving to it's current location in the Industrial Park in 1980.
Because of the growth and success of the program, an addition was added in 1985. In 1990, the name of the program was changed to Jobs Plus, Incorporated. In 1997, an additional building, referred to as JPI, was purchased and remodeled to be used as an additional work site. It is located one block from the main facility. Since then, there has been an addition to Jobs Plus and 2 additions to JPI.
Jobs Plus has focused on rehabilitation of adults with disabilities by providing employment and leisure opportunities that assist individuals in achieving their goals. Jobs Plus has two locations in the Waseca industrial park. A variety of work and leisure activities are provided at each site.
Today Jobs Plus is happy to work with more than 75 individuals on assisting them in meeting their employment and daily living goals.
